This brand new role has been established to recognise the growth in the team and our ambition to drive and embed excellence in our partnering and advisory model. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you’ll be part of a leadership team who are focussed on building a modern, innovative service. Your team will provide our people leaders with the insight and advice that strengthens our impact through evidence based data and external best practice.

You will lead a team of Business Partners, Senior Advisors and Advisors to provide a high quality internal consulting service; ensuring we offer a consistent level of service across the organisation that leverages the skill and insight of our wider people and capability team. You’ll have a passion for operational excellence, lean and customer centric processes and a continuous improvement focus. A natural leader in building highly engaged and impactful teams, you will be clear on the team priorities, where they can have the most impact, and champion a collective view of the people strategy as a senior leader within the People and Capability team.

To be considered for this position, your knowledge and experience will include:

- Significant experience in human resources at a senior leadership level to teams providing both strategic and operational solutions.
- Proven successful experience in leading a highly valued internal consulting service, where collaboration and measuring impact is part of the teams’ DNA.
- A depth of expertise in all the advisory aspects of HR and the applicable legislation.
- Confidence in helping the organisation build cultural competence.
- Strong customer centricity, curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Know how to interpret data and trends and translate in a way that makes sense and adds value to decision making.
- Experience in dealing with ambiguity, demonstrating sound judgement and composure.
- A strong achievement focus that translates to those around you and within your team in a positive engaging way.
