Our Tauranga based operation is multi-functional made up of recently implemented municipal collection contracts and diverse commercial business contracts currently operating out of multiple sites.

**About the Role**

This role will report directly to the Regional Manager with direct reports including operations and administration functions along with a number of indirect reports who all work closely together to deliver high quality service to key stakeholders and clients. Your responsibilities include managing the council relationship, engaging with key stakeholders, implementing strategies to ensure SLAs are met and working with the Regional Manager on a strategic and operational level to deliver on long term contracts. This is a key role in the ongoing management of the new municipal contracts and requires you to be flexible and highly organised.

**About You**

To be considered for this role, you will have
- Experience managing the delivery of complex contracts, previous working relationships with local councils is highly beneficial
- A background in Transport, Logistics or Waste with experience in effective fleet management
- 5 years management experience in a well-established organisation
- The drive to lead the team on Health & Safety and ultimately champion this across your site
