We are seeking a hands-on, highly motivated person to be the new Branch Manager in the**Christchurch Area**.

We are looking for a natural leader who is up-beat, forward-thinking, and consistently works towards the objectives of our business.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of successful people and branch management. You will be passionate and havenatural sales skills and a high level of emotional intelligence to be able to understand and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

**Reporting to the Area Manager, the Branch Manager will be responsible for**:

- Leading, motivating, and developing a team of people
- Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers to ensure continued market leadership
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service isdelivered daily by you and your team
- Providing leadership in sales activities and ensuring the sales team achieve their agreed objectives and sales targets
- Growing our market share and ensuring the Branch is highly competitive and attractive in the market
- Monitoring and managing operating costs and sales targets

**Skills and experience requirements**:

- Ability to develop and manage a team
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
- Sales and/or relationship management experience with strong business and commercial acumen
- Market awareness and a good grasp of basic accounting and warehousing tasks
- A sound knowledge of wholesaling or electrical industry is essential
