A communications superstar looking for a new challenge? Can you develop and deliver high-quality communications content and work as part of team? Then we'd love to hear from you
The Communications Advisor plays a key role in the creation and coordination of content, supporting increased staff engagement, working on the Prime Minister's Oranga Tamariki Awards and sharing information to build pride in Oranga Tamariki.
You'll do this by ensuring effective, communications are on hand to promote and foster understanding of their work. You'll be the ultimate reputation champion always on the lookout for ways to communicate more effectively with our partners, stakeholders, providers and others interested in the work Oranga Tamariki does. You will work alongside an exceptional, supportive & knowledgeable team.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring

**Key requirements of the role include**:

- Proven ability to execute events and project coordinate
- Proven experience in Communications and Engagement with a reputation for delivering quality advice and communications products
- Prior experience at creating digestible to support complex information
- Strong communication skills, including writing, and creation of digital content, with an understanding of social media channels
- Ability to fully integrate a broad range of initiatives, resulting in an effective, efficient and strategic work plan
- Experience working on projects
- Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture
