In internal communications we manage a range of IR-wide communications channels, including our intranet, Haukāinga, and messages for all IR people leaders.
Our relationships really matter to us. We work across the organisation,including at leadership level, so we join the dots and ensure risks are effectively managed. We play a critical role in crisis management, ensuring clear communication to all IR people around New Zealand.
**Ara Whiwhi Mahi | The Opportunity**
The Senior Communications Advisor role creates communications plans and products, provides strategic advice and supports leaders in IR to effectively communicate within their business groups and across IR.
We have a permanent opportunity to primarily work across some long-term accommodation changes for IR people around Aotearoa, which is part of our Future Workplaces programme.
We are open to considering flexible working arrangements such as hours of work, and work location.
**Mōu | About you**
To be successful in this prole you will possess some of the following attributes:
- Experience in accommodation change communications.
- A confident writer who is a plain language champion and understands how to simply convey complex information.
- Experience in internal communications best practice, channels, and frameworks.
- An eye for continuous improvement, looking for innovative ways to support the internal communications team and our internal customers.
- Have the confidence to work with senior leaders and be adept at creating positive relationships.
- Bring energy and innovation to creating communications products that resonate with our IR audiences.
- Have the ability to think about the big picture while working on the detail.
- Write communications plans that identify risks and mean that communications campaigns flow logically and build strong engagement.
- Bring initiative and the ability to solve problems in a complex environment.
