The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Risk Manager to partner with our business units and drive a proactive, embedded approach to risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the enhancement of our Enterprise Risk Management Framework in line with regulatory and industry standards.- Support the Executive Team in defining and monitoring risk appetite.- Identify, assess, and report on strategic, operational, financial, and emerging risks.- Ensure our risk profile remains current and reflective of business realities.- Develop and refine risk policies, procedures, and tools.- Deliver insightful risk reporting to the Leadership Team and Risk Committees.- Oversee incident management, including root cause analysis and mitigation planning.- Provide oversight and guidance on regulatory, breach, and compliance risks.- Execute control testing plans and support timely remediation of deficiencies.- Champion a strong risk culture through training, awareness, and engagement.- Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure proactive risk management.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Risk, Business, Law, or a related discipline.- 7+ years’ experience in risk management, ideally within financial services or insurance.- Deep knowledge of enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory environments.- Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.- Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.- Proven ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.- Experience with risk systems and GRC reporting tools.
