As the Senior Manager Risk Management, you will play a critical role in providing thought leadership, influence, and expert risk oversight across SkyCity. Leveraging your proven risk management skills you will lead the identification, management, and mitigation of risks across the organisation.

This role is high energy, diverse in nature and is a senior member of a small but exceptionally capable team charged with delivering high quality output and insight to Senior Management and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Identify, assess, and implement strategies to reduce the inherent risks SkyCity faces. Including the providing guidance on the design and implementation of key controls across processes.
- Evaluate the current risk management processes and determine their effectiveness in a future scenario.
- Liaise with and guide senior management and the stakeholders about the current and potential risks through reports, documentation and presentations as required.
- Ensure that the company meets its legal and regulatory risk requirements.
- Study market trends and implement the learnings into the risk management processes of SkyCity.
- Prepare risk contingency plans to tackle future risk management issues as required.
- Provide regular and insightful risk reporting to Senior Management and the Board Risk Committee.
- Provide support for the GM Group Risk and CRO as required.
- Working collaboratively across SkyCity to foster a culture of strong risk management practices.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Strong analytical and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working in a Casino or Gaming environment and/or experience in a similarly highly regulated sector (for example Financial Services).Experience working in a casino or gaming environment and/or experience in a similarly highly regulated sector (for example Financial Services).
