**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
The Programme Director Future Services role is a specialist position in the Future Services branch and will be responsible for ensuring the programme is strategically aligned, well-integrated, robustly tested, and successfully delivered. This includes ensuring the right work is underway and is integrated and coherent, managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring performance of the Programme is visible, and regular monitoring information is provided for oversight.

- Extensive public sector leadership with deep knowledge of policy, regulatory, financial, and government decision-making processes.
- Proven programme and project delivery across large-scale initiatives, investment cases, and operating model design.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with strong risk management, benefits realisation, and evaluation expertise.
- Effective communicator and influencer with strong relationship-building skills across senior leadership levels.
- Independent and agile operator with a track record of delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
- Must be a NZ citizen or hold a permanent residence class visa.
