**Tenei turanga - About the Role**:
The Coordinator is a key role ensuring the successful delivery of MBIE's Policy Capability programme.

MBIE's Policy Capability programme focuses on building the skills, tools, processes and enablers required to deliver high-quality policy advice consistently to Ministers and ensure successful delivery of policy quality assurance and review panels for the organisation.

The Policy Capability team is situated in the Office of the Deputy Secretary - Building Resources and Markets (BRM) and supports all policy professionals across MBIE.

The Coordinator has diverse responsibilities including: the delivery of workshops, webinars and seminars; coordinating internal policy quality assurance processes and review panels; be a first point of call on Policy Capability queries within MBIE; provide regular reporting; and support the development of new policy capability initiatives.

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Preferably 3-5 years' experience in coordination, administration or related area ideally in the New Zealand Government.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail as well as the ability to develop and implement fit for purpose, innovative systems, processes and documentation.
- Excellent communication (written, visual and oral) skills, including ability to summarise and convey key points from large amounts of information.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of training or learning programmes, or quality assurance/review panels an advantage.
