**The Role**

We are seeking a Senior Technologist to join a highly engaged and supportive team at our Dunsandel or Pokeno sites.

Reporting to the Product Improvement Manager your responsibilities will include:

- To strengthen the business with new and existing product and process optimisation
- Leading product performance management of commercial specification, formulation, recipe and master data
- Problem solving product quality/technical queries, providing manufacturing process and product expertise.
- To work closely with the New Product Development team to bring new products to market and ensure successful launch of products

This role will suit an innovative team player whose right first time attitude and best practise ideas will be essential in this proactive, technically focused environment.

**Skills and Experience**

This role may offer flexible work times, free car parking and be a part of a very innovative and collaborative team.

To be considered for this position will require:

- A strong tertiary qualification in Food/Dairy Science/Technology or Chemical Engineering
- Strong relevant experience in commercial Food/Dairy/New Product Development
- Powder and/or Infant Formula knowledge and operational experience
- Technical expertise on dairy plant, products, processes, materials and ingredients
- The ability to aid a team that can work at pace, with pride and quality

Previous project leadership experience will also be highly regarded in this role.
