**The Role**

We are seeking a Technologist to join a professional and engaged team at our Dunsandel site based in Canterbury, New Zealand

Reporting to the Product Improvement Manager your responsibilities will include
- Supporting the Powder’s Product Technical Team with product/ formulation optimisation
- Ensuring world-class standards are maintained of Synlait’s specifications, formulations, technical documentation and master data

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with cross functional teams, launching successful products based on product specifications, optimised formulations and customer expectations.

**Skills and Experience**

This role may offer flexible work times, free bus service or free parking and ECharging and is a part of a very innovative and collaborative team.

To be considered for this position will require
- A tertiary qualification in Food/Dairy Science/ Engineering or Technology or equivalent
- Knowledge of dairy processing
- Proven innovative thinking, with customer focused attention to detail
- Capability to communicate both written and verbally up and down a business structure
- The ability to work at pace with pride and quality
