Deputy Chief Executive - Operations
We are seeking to appoint a Deputy Chief Executive - Operations to lead our frontline operational and regulatory functions. This is a large role that spans long-term complex investigations; technical guidance and advice products; hazardous substances control; and frontline inspection and enforcement. The DCE Operations will need to balance delivery while maintaining integration across the different parts of WorkSafe and focusing on regulatory improvement.
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate commitment to achieving healthy work, safe work and equitable outcomes for all workers. You will be a thoughtful leader that sees the link between strategic objectives and frontline delivery. You will be visibly committed to achieving equity, champion te ao Māori approaches to regulation and use your leadership role to give effect to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
