**About the contract opportunity**

This Government Agency is looking a highly experienced Executive or Senior Executive Assistant to primarily support a very busy Deputy Chief Executive. This is a demanding role and the EA is needed to be an active member of this team to solve problems, provide support, advice and make improvements to administration services across the group. So, if you thrive off playing a key role in a busy, energetic organisation this could be the perfect position for you. There’s a real opportunity to do meaningful work at this senior level.

Some responsibilities of this role include:

- Organise internal and external meetings
- Travel, events and associated activities
- Meeting briefings
- Action points, reminders, minutes, agendas
- Secretary functions for leadership meetings
- Keeping across timelines for work programmes and communicating these

**What you need**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to calmly and effectively address complex situations
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and maintain resilience in a constantly changing environment
- The role entails full Director management support such as diary and workflow management, advice, administrative and planning support.
- Attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of contacts
- Document management and presentation
- Secretariat support
- Programme or project management support
