**Health & Safety Advisor**

Due to increased demand in the business and exciting full-time position is immediately available for Health & Safety Advisor based at our Christchurch office.

To be successful in this role you will need:

- Good health & safety system knowledge
- Relevant co-ordination, administration & advisor experience.
- Goof working knowledge of current NZ health & safety legislation
- Sound knowledge of software systems including Microsoft packages, word & excel
- Inputting of data and managing health & safety database
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the business
- Engage and mentor all stakeholders of the business on good practices in health & safety
- Participate in health & safety initiatives and projects
- Understand the hazards and risks associated with the construction industry preferred
- Drive "safety first" culture where people clearly demonstrate safe behaviours and think safety before taking action

This is an interesting, busy and varied role and is to support the current Health & Safety team and will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination of administration & reporting advisor; along with supporting the Health and Safety Manager.

Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa; and have NZ experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role.
