**About the job**:
We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Water Treatment professional, to assist in leading our Water Quality Team of Water Treatment Technicians.

Working closely with the Water Quality Manager, Technical Operations Manager, Senior Engineers and the Client, you will deliver results and achieve optimum efficiency of staff, plant and other assets.

This role is responsible for providing leadership, customer relationship management and operations management for the Team. In addition, the key focus will be providing operational oversight to the CCC Chlorination Programme daily operations, Citycare Water staff and sub-contractors, treatment and pump station upgrades.

Your passion for environmental sustainability, an alignment with Citycare Water’s values and a commitment to upholding Te Mana O te Wai will allow you to be successful in this role.

**What you’ll need**:
- It is essential that you have strong knowledge of water quality regulations, treatment processes and industry best practices.
- Relevant experience in water treatment or reticulation systems management and operational leadership experience.
- New Zealand Certificate or higher in drinking water treatment, or an appropriate trade registration, certificate, diploma of degree in Engineering, Operational Management or Project Management.
- Analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision making is key in this role.
- Health, Safety & Environmental knowledge is also essential.
