As a Marketing Intern, you’ll be collaborating directly with our Marketing Assistant and General Manager. Your main mission? To fuel the excitement around our upcoming Pastorale concert by crafting compelling content for social media, our website, and advertisements, and to assist with the longer-term marketing goals of the organisation.

**Here’s what you’ll be up to**:

- Assisting with creating social media strategies and PR initiatives tailored to our Pastorale concert on 24 August
- Drafting captivating copy for event descriptions, marketing materials, and press releases
- Offering insights into our long-term marketing vision
- Keeping our website fresh and engaging with regular updates
- If time permits, designing and creating a fundraising brochure for the orchestra

**What we’re looking for**:
**ESSENTIAL**
- A current or recent marketing student eager to gain experience
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and various social media platforms
- An ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner

**DESIRABLE**
- Knowledge of WordPress and updating websites
- An interest in non-profit organisations, music, and/or arts management

**Internship details**:
The internship will ideally start on Monday 9 June and conclude by Friday 29 August, however there is some flexibility around these dates. You’ll need to invest an average of 3 hours per week; these hours can be tailored to accommodate your university commitments. While much of the internship will take place on a work-from-home basis there will be the occasional in-person meeting to help keep the creative ideas flowing It is desirable to attend the occasional Monday meeting at Momentum Hub, next to our performance venue the Due Drop Events Centre in Manukau.
