Marketing & Growth Intern (6 Hours Per Week)

Company Description

Focus Office Furniture is a fast-growing New Zealand business that designs and delivers commercial furniture solutions for workplaces that inspire people to do their best work. We move fast, build smart systems, and take pride in the details that make a space perform.

Now, we are looking for a Marketing & Growth Intern to join us on our next stage of expansion. This is not a "make coffee" internship you will be working directly alongside the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, helping to bring real marketing systems, campaigns, and ideas to life.

You will gain hands-on
experience across every layer of modern marketing
, from digital campaigns and email communication to social media strategy, content creation, and brand partnerships. You will also assist with analytics, reporting, and research to help us measure what works and make smarter decisions as we grow.

At the end of your internship, you will receive a
personal reference letter
signed by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, or a

, depending on performance and fit.

Commitment:
Around 6 hours per week for 6 months (approximately 150 hours total)

What You'll Do

  • Support and help execute marketing campaigns across digital and social platforms
  • Create and refine
    website
    , written and visual content for brand communication
  • Contribute to partnerships, customer engagement initiatives, and marketing systems in motion
  • Learn how marketing connects to business strategy, growth, and operations in real time
  • Assist with analytics, reporting, and performance tracking
  • CRM Management

Who You Are

You might be studying or recently graduated in
Marketing, Communications, or Business
, and ready to turn your knowledge into action. You are creative, curious, and confident in communication. You enjoy seeing ideas move from concept to execution. You like clarity, structure, and getting things done.

You bring strong written and verbal communication skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to think analytically. You are comfortable using tools like
Canva, Shopify, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or Meta Business
, or eager to learn them quickly. You understand how brand, content, and systems come together to create growth.
