Auckland City, New Zealand Eliette's Music Academy Full time

Eliette's Music Academy is home to 40 teachers and 1000 students on the North Shore in Albany and Grafton, Auckland Central, as well as running music programmes in a number of schools Auckland wide.

April, 2025 will also see the launch of a new location in Botany, East Auckland and we are expanding our team across all sites.

A community and family built on the joy of music. We are a vibrant, contemporary school which cover a range of instruments in a playing based environment.

We're looking for musicians who are passionate, inspired, creative and driven to work with a wide age range teaching Piano, Singing, Drums, Guitars (including bass and ukulele), songwriting, music production and general group music classes.

You'd need to be available from 3:30pm most days of the week and ideally have a history of teaching young children and adults of all levels and abilities. Ideally someone who has a degree in music and a bonus if you are able to teach multiple instruments.

Criteria:

- A positive attitude and creative flare
- Good communication skills and ability to talk with parents and students clearly and professionally.
- Sense of humour
- Qualifications and teaching experience is a plus but not compulsory (training provided)
- Skilful in playing your instrument(s) and reading music
- Ability to teach additional instruments is big plus but not essential
- The school is open Monday - Friday from 330pm - 730pm and Saturday's 9am - 5pm
- Available for at least 18 months.
