Drum Teacher

We Are Loud is a small music school based in Glen Eden, West Auckland. Our focus is on creating a safe space for musicians and teachers of all backgrounds to work in a supportive environment. We are a female run studio, rainbow and neurodiversity-friendly.

We are currently looking for a drum teacher for Friday afternoons and to fill in on other days when needed, with potential to join us in a greater capacity as we grow.

We're particularly interested in multi-instrumentalists, but right now are looking mainly for drum teachers, so it's just an added bonus if you're able to teach other instruments too

As we are a private studio, our busiest hours are 3-7pm during weekdays, and 10am-5pm on Saturdays, although we don't expect any team-member to be available every week day and can be flexible.

Our student base is extremely varied so we are looking for teachers who are comfortable working with students from all backgrounds, cultures and with a variety of needs. Support and further training can be given and we do our best to ensure opportunities for upskilling, personal and professional development are available to all of our teachers.

Further study/music degree preferred but not essential. All applicants must be able to pass a police vetting check to work with young people.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $41.50 per hour
