**The Opportunity/The Role**:
**_ Tuapeka is seeking a process driven Supply Chain Manager with proven leadership experience to. _**
- Reporting to the CCO, The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for coordinating, organising and general oversight of all activities involved in the acquisition and distribution of company goods. You will also be responsible for overseeing departments associated with purchase and delivery of stock to Warehouses, as well as the distribution of customer orders. A day in the life of a successful applicant may include (but is not limited to):_
- _ Managing external logistics vendors, conducting reviews of pricing and service._
- _ Ensuring product data is being maintained accurately and date required by other departments is accessible. _
- _Monitoring purchasing according to budget and planning payments to overseas suppliers._
- _ Overseeing the indent departments performance, including workflow and shipping processes. _
- _Facilitating continuous improvement of all supply chain information systems and procedures._
- _ Overseeing import/export processes, ensuring customs compliance, and streamlining clearance by ensuring all documentation is prepared accurately in advance. Implementing strategies to mínimalize custom holds. _
- _Regular analysis and reporting_
**What you will bring to the table/You/Requirements**:
- To be successful in this role, you must have:_
- _ Degree in Business or related field_
- _ Purchasing and Inventory management experience _
- _Extensive international trade and logistics knowledge_
- _ Excellent verbal and written communication skills_
- _ Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers._
- _ Strong leadership skills._
- _ Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail._
- _ Through understanding of company products and logistics. _
- _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills._
- _ Proficient with MS Office Suite or related software. _
