**What’s in it for me?**Our client is a local software development company with a fast growing international customer base. Joining the dedicated team in the Christchurch based HQ this role will see you providing high quality technical support, diagnosing hardware, network and software issues and providing training and guidance to internal and external customers.

**What would I be doing?**This will be a busy and varied role, where your contribution will be valued and visible throughout the company. You will be:

- An integral part of the development team, assisting with deploying and testing mobile cloud and embedded software.
- Researching and diagnosing hardware and software issues
- Liaising closely with technicians, support staff and customers coaching them through corrective actions and communicating system settings
- Working across cloud, cellular and disconnected networks
- Maintaining a high level of service availability and managing risks

**What do I need?**To be considered for this role you will be required to demonstrate a solid mix of the following:

- A relevant diploma or degree with at least 1 year work experience in a similar role
- Work experience with Linux based operating systems, including Linux box configuration and logging
- Familiarity with bash scripting
- Network configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Android App installation and configuration experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for liaising with colleagues and customers.
- Availability for some early starts (5am or 6am) and availability to work on an on-call roster
- Flexibility and a willingness to take on additional duties when required
