Strategic Business Services ("SBS") administers the Bank's, business & agribusiness non-performing and categorised assets. SBS operates independently of BNZ Partnership Banking and Credit, enabling us to mahi (work) objectively and give clients specialist attention. As Manager Strategic Business Services, you will be working within a well-established Risk Management team, co-managing a portfolio of predominately Business and Agri customers. **Mō te Tūranga | About the Role** We spoke with the Director - Strategic Business Services Central (who you'd report to) and he let us know the following about the tūranga (role); **What are the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?** - Work closely with both Partners and Credit Partners and the Director - SBS to support kiritaki (customer) relationship management and develop and lead workout strategies in respect to impaired or potentially impaired credit. - Work with distressed customers and their professional advisors to lead turnaround strategies and / or account plans - Approve lending facilities and support customer performance reviews. - Work in conjunction with Partners to lead, review, report, and approve / submit recommendations on strategies and / or progress in respect to a portfolio of impaired credit files **What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role?** As Manager Strategic Business Services, you will bring with you proven knowledge and experience in business relationship and/or agribusiness relationship management and lending experience. With experience in credit management, you will be familiar with the banking credit policy and have a good understanding of financial accounting standards. As a proactive tīma (team) player, you will be able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment. You will bring outstanding communication and stakeholder management experience with the ability to effectively influence across the business and build strong relationships with your customers. **What do we want you to know before you apply?** The clients within the portfolio are experiencing financial difficulty and as the Manager Strategic Business Services you will, work closely with both Partners and Credit Partners and the Director SBS Central to support customer relationship management, and develop and lead workout strategies in respect to impaired or potentially impaired credit.
