The Health, Safety and Security Enablement team are looking for a great leader of people to join our high performing team.
Reporting to the Director Health, Safety and Security Enablement (HSSE), The Manager Advisory Group leads a team of advisors to develop, evaluate and improve services, standards policies, and practices across our Health Safety & Security teams and the wider Ministry alongside the other teams the within the HSSE team.
The Manager Advisory Group will support the implementation of the Enablement work programme of business improvements through timely, consistent, accurate, business-focused advice through the HSSE Principal Advisor, Senior Advisors, and Advisors. This will also require strong knowledge and understanding of quality assurance and frameworks.
You will be responsible for coaching and developing the skills of your team, providing a sounding board, and ensuring compliance with both legislation and policy across everything we deliver.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Experience in leading a team or influencing people, leaders of people and stakeholders, to continually improve an Organisational health and safety system.
- Excellent understanding of the machinery of government, and subsequent considerations when developing processes, procedures, and reports.
- An agile and resilient thinker who can multitask and keep a cool head under pressure
- Able to work as part of a team in a sometimes fast paced work environment with competing priorities.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The remuneration band for this role is $124,397 to $173,973. Appointing salary will be based on skills and experience.
