Strong forecast growth has created the need for a Head of Finance & Information Technology, accountable for the strategic direction, performance and quality of business’s Finance & IT functions, ensuring a streamlined client and business experience.

**The role**
The Head of Finance & IT is a multi-faceted Executive Leadership role, accountable for the general management and long-term viability of the business’s Finance & IT functions.

Reporting to the Managing Director and part of the senior executive team, the Head of Finance & IT is more specifically responsible for:

- Leading, managing and mentoring a highly effective team, focused on achieving excellence
- Providing financial and technical thought leadership, expertise and strategic direction to the Executive and the broader business
- Providing key financial and information technology insights and analysis, business opportunities and risks for the Executive
- Ensuring IT & Finance strategy and operation aligns with business priorities and goals
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory company administration, financial & taxation requirements
- Managing the budget and evaluating performance against budget
- Ensuring the timely preparation of all monthly financial and management accounts and adherence to accounting standards
- Managing the preparation and audit of the Financial Statements with external auditors
- Reviewing and analysing commercial contracts and supplier agreements ensuring they meet business requirements and are within risk parameters
- Leading the development of the business’s strategic procurement plans and ensuring alignment with wider strategic objectives.

**Your Background and Skills**
- A minimum qualification of a commercial Bachelor’s Degree
- An accounting qualification, CA or equivalent, is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years professional experience in financial management and analysis
- Experience leading multidisciplinary function/s within a professional services/time & cost environment/organisation
- Experience in the property/construction industry is preferred.
