Pegasus Health works with Oranga Tamariki and Whanau to deliver exceptional health care to the rangatahi of Te Puna Wai o Tuhinapo Youth Justice Residence, near Rolleston.

**What you will be doing**

As the team leader you will provide leadership to the Residence Youth Health Service team and support staff throughout the residence to optimise health out comes for residents of Te Puna Wai o Tuhinapo.

You will liaise with key internal and external providers to improve equitable healthcare for rangitahi and ensure current legislative requirements are adhered to. You will incorporate culturally aware practices into policy and systems, maintain professional competence and support the Health and Safety policies of the residence and Pegasus Health.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday (day time only currently)

**What you will bring**
- Highly experienced Registered Nurse with a minimum of seven years post registration experience and hold a current NZ practicing certificate.
- Hold a post graduate qualification or be working towards one.
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Ability to manage a team, establish networks and build working relationships within the workplace and with external providers.
- Ensures policies and procedures are relevant and current, reporting requirements are delivered in a timely manner.
