**About the Role**

We are all about growth here and a recent internal promotion means we can offer an opportunity for a new Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Operations Group, supporting the Transport Leadership Team. This is an ideal role for someone with commercial experience looking for a step up, with the drive to progress their career into a Commercial Manager role in the future.

You will own and deliver pro-active reporting and insights - maximising revenue and control cost. Contributing to the financial performance of the team through analysis of the performance of the transport portfolio, stakeholder management, budgeting, forecasting and identifying the relevant exceptions in financial results.

**You will be experienced in**:

- Developing and delivering insightful, commercially astute advice & reporting that enhances the outcomes and results
- Leading the annual financial planning, budgeting and quarterly forecasting process, ensuring a commercial plan that is insight driven and linked to strategy
- Exception-based performance management reporting in partnership with key business stakeholders
- Provision of financial leadership and evaluation support for investment decisions
- Identifying and driving process efficiencies - putting a true continuous improvement lens over everything you do

**About You**

You will offer outstanding commercial partnership experience with a solid management accounting background, you’ll have a knack for translating numbers and making the complicated simple. You’ll be a strong communicator who is commercially astute with high attention to detail and curiosity that fuels your desire to learn. You’ll have:

- You have had experience working with logistics or FMCG, with a demonstratable understanding of what makes these businesses tick.
- Experience in financial reporting forecasting and business information systems
- Excellent analytical capability with high levels of planning and numeric ability
- A flair for nurturing relationships, influencing and coaching to ensure shared deliverables are met
- Chartered Accountant with Big 4 experience would be an added bonus
