We have an opportunity for a strong sales and operational leader to join our team in
**Christchurch** to manage the South Island region. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this is a pivotal role that will provide leadership and direction to the regional sales, customer services, and operations team.

With a focus on people, services, assets, costs, and safety, this key role maintains strong customer and supplier relationships, including relationships across the design and specification industry, enabling service offers to be adapted to changing markets.

You will be an individual who is a strategic influencer with strength and passion in coaching and empowering staff - all with the view to developing people capability and engagement, resulting in ongoing positive work culture, sales performance, and the delivery of profitable results.

Day to day, you will be instrumental in:

- Developing and managing regional sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets,
- Providing exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers,
- Ensuring accurate, systematic adherence to company policies and procedures and timely reporting,
- Negotiating with commercial project stakeholders, including developers, architects, project managers, builders, and sub-contractors.

Ideally, you will have a track record of implementing best practices in your area of expertise and leading a thriving team. Your accomplishments will show you have achieved success in dynamic business environments with your people management, sound negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Prior exposure within the commercial interiors industry, or similar trade-based industry and knowledge of supply chain management, are desirable.
