As Land Development Compliance Engineer your will play an important role in providing integrated land development engineering assessments and advice, with a focus on compliance during the physical delivery and asset transfer phase of consents granted by the organisation. The role has a particular technical focus on ensuring the integrity of Council's existing asset infrastructure and any new infrastructure connecting to Council's existing networks and ensuring compliance with the Rotorua engineering standards.

You will be a problem solver with experience and an understanding of engineering design/construction standards, practices and contracts, supported by a relevant engineering construction qualification. You will also have the ability to balance customer needs with a range of other factors such as sustainable economic development objectives, and the ability to effectively communicate this to customers.
