- An exciting opportunity for an experienced Land Owner Liaison Officer has come up in our Rotorua Transmission Team.**The role**
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you’ll be responsible to liaise with Landowners and stakeholders for Transmission line maintenance and project works being carried out work for Transpower in the NL1 and NL3 regions. You’ll be responsible to:
- Advise Landowners on restrictions to land use caused by the
- Respond to Land Owner complaints/conflict in a timely manner
- Notify stakeholders immediately on the receipt of a complaint/conflict
- Ensure planned works meets and complies with the Electricity Act 1992
- Maintain accurate and complete diary of activities e.g. places visited, customers spoken to, agreements reached via Transpower’s Landowner data base within contract time frames
- Carry out Audits on work where notification isn’t completed by the Land Owner liaison Officer to ensure compliance with the Act is consistent

**About you**
To be successful in this role, we're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- E1 or E2 industry qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in the Transmisison industry dealing with stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Project
- Problem solving skills, with a proven ability to develop and manage relationships
