Knowledge Advisor

**In this role you will**:

- possess experience in information exploitation, data analysis, business analysis or information management;
- be building a knowledge management career and be attracted to working in a complex business and customer-focused environment;
- demonstrate strong technology skills along with an ability to become a fluent user of Sharepoint and NZSIS's analytical systems;
- have a self-starting approach, be comfortable working in a team setting and have the skills to deliver in an ambiguous environment;
- exhibit well developed interpersonal attributes with a high level of attention to detail.

**About the Environment**:
This role is with the team promoting an agenda of knowledge-led decision making for the organisation. Operating within a unique environment you will:

- help define, develop and implement the data ethics framework;
- undertake analysis work relating to information flows, risk assessment, data handling and future-proofing systems and processes;
- assist NZSIS achieve better business outcomes with data and information;
- ensure compliance with data management standards;
- work in a supportive environment where you will be able to excel in a role with real meaning.

The position will focus on analysing the way NZSIS captures, organises and uses data and information.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
