We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Coordinator to join us in Auckland and make a difference to the successful operation of our Geotechnical team.
In this role you will be responsible for a range of important things which could include managing equipment bookings, inspecting equipment, raising repair requests, managing samples and cleaning site testing equipment.
You'll be working as part of the geotechnical engineering team, supporting and helping our technical staff. You will be introduced to what our geotechnical engineers do and how, as well as having the opportunity and autonomy to input into existing processes to help us do things even better. We're looking for someone who can join our highly supportive team and really be a part of what we do.
This role is Monday to Friday part-time, 20-25 hours a week. We anticipate the hours will be 3 hours in the morning and 2 in the evening, however, are open to talking through this and can be flexible. We're also flexible in splitting this role out into two, so if you are interested in a 10-12 hour week we'd still love to hear from you.
Your day could involve:
- Cleaning site testing equipment
- Managing Geotechnical equipment booking system
- Checking equipment bookings and ensuring these are there and ready to go for site visits
- Managing soil samples and core and liaising with our partners Geotechnics
- Being the go-to person for queries and questions, and helping our Geotechnical staff get the job done
- Problem solving when bookings or equipment or core goes wrong
