In your role as an **Associate Geotechnical Engineer**, you will Provide technical input and advice within design teams with respect to Geotechnical Engineering in accordance with relevant industry/client, local and international standards. Undertake planning, analysis and technical delivery of geotechnical deliverables, including designs, design documentation, reports and specifications. You will also take a lead role for delivering projects, undertaking complex geotechnical problem solving and exercising sound judgement and initiative whilst confidently reviewing, checking and approving Geotechnical designs and documentation completed by others that’s in-line with relevant guidelines and codes of practice. #LI-AP1 #APMETransport #ANZTransport #ANZGeoTechnical #APACTransport **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - Appropriate Qualifications (e.g. Degree Civil Engineering) and a Chartered Professional Engineer in NZ with ongoing CPD. - Significant knowledge and experience of geotechnical design principles and methods, and deliverables for infrastructure projects. - Proven experience in planning, coordination and supervision of geotechnical investigations and technical reporting. - Strong knowledge in preparing geotechnical designs and deliverables for transport & general infrastructure projects. - Working collaboratively with other members of the Ground Engineering and Transport engineering sections, as well as members of Buildings, Water, Power and Consulting sections; providing inputs to project works and tender bids. **Jacobs.
