At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora we work together to improve the health and wellbeing of people across New Zealand - Aotearoa. Our clinical Records team plays a vital role in supporting safe, high-quality care by ensuring accurate, timely and secure management of patient information.

**About the Role**

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Coordinator to support our Clinical Records leadership team and help keep our operations running smoothly. In this role, you will be the go-to person for administrative and coordination support across the Clinical Records service. You will be responsible for supporting the Team Leader through ensuring clinical records staff provide a customer focused service to patients and clinical teams.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You will work closely with team leaders and other health professionals, contributing to a service that underpins patient care across the district. The salary range for this role is $78,614 - $89,491.

**About the Team**

Our team in clinical records are responsible for the safe, effective and efficient management of patient records. Our goal is to ensure we deliver a well-organised and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service and organisation.

You are a natural organiser with a calm, can-do attitude and a strong sense of responsibility. You will bring to the role:

- Strong communication skills - confident engaging with a wide range of people, both clinical and non-clinical
- High attention to detail - especially when working with sensitive health information and documentation
- A collaborative approach - you enjoy supporting others and contributing to a positive team culture with a desire to bring the best out in people
- Initiative and adaptability - able to anticipate needs and respond to changing priorities
- A commitment to confidentiality and data security - you understand the importance of protecting patient information. You bring a working understanding of the Privacy Act 2020 and Health Information Code 2020
- Digital confidence - comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and patient management systems
