With its commitment to excellence in teaching, research and clinical leadership, the Department of Psychological Medicine aims to advance psychological medicine by bringing together our academic and clinical expertise in psychiatry and psychology (clinical and health).

**_ The role - Te mahi_**

As a Professional Practice Fellow, you will:

- Be responsible for teaching across a range of lectures and group tutorials in the undergraduate medical curriculum, with a focus on the teaching of mental disorders, behavioural medicine and developmental psychology.
- Facilitate small group tutorials on early professional experience.
- Assist with teaching administration, prepare course material and maintain your own professional practice.

**_Your skills and experience - Kā pūkeka me kā wheako_**
- A New Zealand recognised qualification in Clinical Psychology/ registration with the NZ Psychologists' Board and experience in clinical practice.
- Have had substantial experience of health professional work.
- Experience in teaching at the tertiary level is preferred but not essential.

This is a part-time (0.5 FTE), permanent position.

Appointment will be made at an appropriate grade and step in these ranges depending on qualifications and experience.
