**The Opportunity**

Are you looking for an Insights Analyst opportunity to provide high quality reporting and insights analysis to enable business to make data driven decisions?

If you have a data analytics or computer science background and think you have what it takes to be an analyst, then we have something for you

Sitting within our Information Services department, this is an opportunity assisting in Business Intelligence services and solutions to support Gallagher Group. You will be part of our Insights team, responsible for the design and implementation of Power BI reports and analytical solutions to enhance business performance.

How will you achieve this? You’ll use your talent and experience to understand and define business problems, gather business requirements, build solutions and develop and write reports so that Gallagher has meaningful data to drive great business decisions, also creating visibility surrounding the true value information technology adds.

**Ideally, you’ll have industry experience and knowledge in the following areas**:

- Ability to design and implement Power BI reporting solutions
- Business Analyst skills to gather and translate business requirements
- Story telling on data analytics outcomes and machine learning models
- Coding experience using analytical languages SQL, DAX (desirable - R and Python)
- Data manipulation experience for data cleansing and descriptive analysis
- Understand model evaluation tools (e.g. RMSE, AUC and F-score)
- Familiarity with Azure ecosystem
