We are looking for a Marketing Communications Officer, based in East Tamaki. This roles primary purpose is to assist the General Manager to support the Cookes business in branding, development & distribution of marketing communications, internal communications, and promotional material.

Working alongside the Digital Marketing Officer you will create “on brand” marketing communications collateral for; sales & marketing events, our nation branch network (retail), account managers and digital channels.

Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for (but not limited to):

- Work with the GM to set, monitor and assess marketing strategies and activities.
- Assist the GM in monitoring competitor marketing activity.
- Creation and development of marketing communications material
- Coordination & design of graphics for events
- Showroom design support, promotions, and layout
- Sourcing & design of promotional items
- Printing (inhouse and external)
- brochures
- business cards
- small instore signage
- Manage social media (FB and LinkedIn)
- Support and ensure alignment of the Cookes branch in line with Global requirements
- Work with the Digital Marketing Officer to develop a content plan
- External building signage, design and coordinate installation or maintenance
- Vehicle signage, design and coordination of installation where required
- Organize and create the Cookes quarterly newsletter
- Support the various business units in the creation of internal comms

You will have...
- A flare for creativity
- A bachelors degree in marketing, communications or other related field
- Graphic design experience (experience using Adobe Creative Cloud suite absolute essential)
- Good eye for design
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be proactive, adaptable and flexible around campaign deadlines
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and undertake a variety of tasks across the company with differing deadlines
