**What you’ll be doing**:
Transforming the customer experience is at the heart of our strategy at Chorus. We want to be experience led in everything that we do, so we’re looking for a Senior Customer Experience Designer to join us on our journey to shape and design services that deliver great experiences for our customers.

You’ll be working as a designer in the Customer Experience team, reporting to the Head of Customer Experience. We’re a growing and high performing team whose skills are in demand, so you will get to work on ideas from across the wider business, giving you lots of variety and experience on everything that we do. You’ll have your hands full with the following:

- Leading facilitation of design sprints and workshops, including research and customer testing
- Supporting development of data driven customer journey maps / service design blueprints and personas to visualise our services and experiences in a way that is easy to understand
- Distilling business and customers needs into digestible components for design and development teams
- Engaging with our customers and partners to drive true collaboration across the end to end experience
- Understanding our customers deeply, becoming a customer champion for Chorus
- Supporting the creation of, then championing our design practice for Chorus to drive customer focused design into our ways of working, including best practice frameworks, tools, processes and resources for the business to use
- Supporting and mentoring others to help build capability in the team and wider business

**What you’ll bring to the table**:
Having a real passion for customers is a great start. But it’ll take more than that to succeed in this role. If the above sounds like you, then you will need:

- 5+ years of demonstratable experience driving design thinking / service design efforts in organisations
- Be skilled and experienced in leading and facilitating design sprints/workshops and customer research, in person and using on-line collaboration tools
- Have a strong understanding of human centered design methodologies like Design Thinking, Lean UX and customer/user research methods and have the ability to translate these into ways of working for an organisation
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- A growth mindset and resilience with the ability to translate vision to action and deliver on goals
- Be an excellent communicator who can tell stories, influence and excite the organisation at all levels, including Exec.
