Your portfolio will cover both domestic and international entities (including Fiji Water International) which will expose you to various stakeholders across the globe. **Here’s what you will be doing**: - Partner with leaders to understand the business and develop strategic and operational HR programs that will strengthen culture, improve performance, and enhance engagement within their group - Partner with the HR Operations support function to seamlessly administer the various HR processes and programs for your business entities - Serve as a consultant to management on key organizational and management issues, and as an employee champion - Coach business leaders on execution of performance management and talent management processes to promote a culture of high performance, continuous growth and development - Assist management in evaluating performance of team members, providing guidance regarding coaching, counseling and development. Ensure employees have the right skills, tools and talents to perform their roles, and that the business has the right talent in the right roles - Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build and maintain morale, and increase productivity and retention - Analyze turnover, transfers and exit interview data to proactively identify trends, and provide recommendations to client groups for improvement - Manage the resolution of complex employee relations issues, assisting in the investigation of employee complaints partnering with legal counsel when needed. Advises and counsels management regarding appropriate disciplinary actions to create consistency and ensure mínimal legal risk - Maintain knowledge of human resource industry trends and new employment related legislation and communicate policies, procedures and program revisions as necessary to assigned client groups - Other responsibilities as required from time to time There will be some local travel as well as the occasional international travel to the Pacific Islands as required. **Qualifications**: **Here’s what you’ll bring to the table**: - Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 5-7 years Human Resources experience, of which at least 3 years will be as a business partner for a large and complex organization - Ability to operate independently AND as part of a team - Strong Microsoft skills particularly in Word, Excel and PowerPoint ***Ideally you will come from an HR operations background with the ability to deal with complex structures and can thrive juggling multiple and constantly changing priorities. You will be a true generalist with a passion for people and enjoy contributing at both hands-on and strategic levels. You’re down to earth, approachable and highly effective at liaising at all levels within a diverse workforce. Your knowledge of employment legislation and the impact of people practices on business results and adapting to strategies is an area you excel in.
