Due to the on-going growth of SLR Consulting within our Asia-Pacific Region (APAC) we are currently seeking a Technical Director, Coastal Resilience to join our team. As a rapidly growing consultancy with circa 650 employees in APAC (160 of those in New Zealand) and counting, this is a great opportunity for someone to come on board with us as we continue to develop our NZ business We’re committed to finding the best people in the industry to help guide our company into the future, because it’s the people that make us who we are and set us apart from the competition.
This role will be instrumental in providing strong technical leadership and project/advisory delivery within the Climate Change Adaption and Coastal Resilience service line for 4Sight/SLR.
You will be responsible for delivering technical advice and projects for clients, with particular emphasis on coastal resilience and adaptation, whilst collaborating with our other disciplines as appropriate in New Zealand and across the wider APAC region. This role will assist in the identification of new business opportunities that align with 4Sight/SLR purpose and values. An important component of this role will be supporting the needs of, and consultation with, Iwi partners to achieve balanced outcomes for land, people and water.
Finally, you will assist in the growth of the team by providing technical learning opportunities, and producing high quality work which enhances the reputation of 4Sight/SLR.
