Tasman Liquor Company (TLC) is national wholesaler operating from sites in Auckland, Wellington, Napier and Christchurch, servicing the retail and hospitality sectors. TLC also operates a number of liquor retail marketing groups, which has over 360 member stores around NZ. We are part of a listed Australian business, Metcash Ltd, which is one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading wholesale and retail marketing groups, operating across food, liquor and hardware, all of which are strong recession resistant categories.
In this new role based in Auckland, we need someone with great energy and a sense of humour to support our down to earth NZ leadership team (NZLT) in various administrative and organisational tasks. Our office is based in Wiri, along with our Auckland distribution centre. Post Covid, we are adopting a hybrid model of working from the office and home (as respective roles allow). We recognise the value the hybrid approach offers to our teams.
**What you’ll do**
- Manage the day-to-day administration requirements of the NZLT
- Assist in preparing and distributing weekly/monthly operational reports
- Raising purchase orders for the NZLT
- Overseeing lease vehicle and fuel programs
- Assist in driving and co-ordinating staff engagement initiatives
- Co-ordinate communications on our internal staff portal (“Our Local”)
- On-boarding requests/requirements for new employees - P&C and IT
- Provide backup to Warehouse Administrator and Napier Administrator, including payroll and data entry
- Assist with ad hoc projects and initiatives
**What you’ll bring**
- Experience in a similar role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to self-manage and use your initiative
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- A “Can Do Attitude”
- Solid experience using ERP’s and Microsoft App’s (Word, Excel, Teams) - Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Kronos Payroll experience would be great
