As Policy Advisor you will provide advice to the business and manage key legislative processes. A key focus will be on the development of Tamaki Regeneration Company’s annual compliance documents, as well as supporting the Policy Manager to develop business cases and undertake economic analysis.

Reporting into the Policy Manager, you will work closely with them to manage the annual strategic planning process and the annual audit of non-financial performance, as well as undertake regular policy environmental scans and providing advice on government legislation, regulations, policy announcements, and budgets, amongst other things.

You will have experience working in a policy or strategy role within a ministry, council, or agency setting, as well as machinery of government experience. With a passion for supporting communities, you will be comfortable connecting with stakeholders and have excellent writing skills too.
