About The Role
The Senior Product Delivery Manager role is responsible for managing a large product or portfolio of products to maximise their revenue and growth and aligning the customers’ requirements and expectations with Datacom’s service levels. This role ensures that all contracted services are delivered to clients in accordance with contracts and provides a single point of contact for clients in relation to the provision of contracted services.

The key responsibility of the Senior Product Delivery Manager is to ensure the Product Delivery Managers have the support and guidance they need to be able to govern across all areas of their services including service management, incident and change management, continual service improvement and customer satisfaction as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery

**Requirements**:

- Lead customer product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
- Contract and commercial management and service management.
- Client relationship management.
- Improving existing software capability, continual service improvement and innovation.
- Recommending efficient modifications to systems and processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost of all operations.
- Creating, managing and disbursing reports as required.
- Leading the development of strategic product roadmaps, budgets and learning collateral that are consistent with corporate objectives.
- Using well developed industry knowledge to strategically direct product development.
- Liaising and instructing stakeholders in sales, marketing and finance to direct and improve product delivery.
- Instructs staff in relevant processes to assist in their development.
- Gathering, defining, and documenting requirements, deliveries, and outcomes, providing technical guidance.
- Providing guidance and advice to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies in order to meet schedules and resolve technical problems.

- Understanding of service management methodologies including ITIL v4.
- Sound understanding of technical concepts and frameworks & Product development lifecycle.
- Broad and deep understanding of technical infrastructure projects, operations and related technology dependencies.
- Uses industry knowledge to predict future challenges for the product(s).
- Uses relationships across the business and industry to drive product development and growth.
- Strong professional marketing knowledge and skills.
- Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation and project revenue.
- Strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated experience in managing people and teams.
- Financial management, including cost estimation and budget tracking and reporting.
- Experienced in presenting and communicating with stakeholders to maximise product sales and revenue.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in the IT industry.
- Service Management or Support in a large-scale and diverse environment of incident management, escalation procedures and related disciplines.
- Experience as a project or delivery manager would be beneficial, along with financial management and commercial awareness.

Qualifications and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT or a related field.
AgilePM / Agile SAFe. - desirable not essential
Prince2 / PMP. - desirable not essential
ITIL V4. - desirable not essential
