**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
Ōtara Library is a great place for the community to connect, learn, relax, and enjoy. We are a focused and committed team who takes pride in creating a wonderful customer experience in our Library & Community Centre. In this role, you will be contributing to the day to day running of the library, support the delivery of library programmes, and answering a wide range of enquiries from customers about library and council services.

This is a fixed-term part-time 20 hour position, based at Ōtara Library, the role also requires flexibility when required to work across the Ōtara-Papatoetoe Local Board Libraries as well as working on Saturdays.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
Your natural ability to relate well with people of all ages and backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and resilience will ensure that you are able to successfully engage with our customers. You are someone who prides yourself on providing an excellent level of customer service, you are keen to learn new skills and new ways to engage with our diverse and vibrant community.

As digital troubleshooting is an important part of this role, you will be expected to be familiar with digital technology and able to comfortably impart that knowledge to our customers.
