**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
An opportunity has arisen to work as a Libraries & Council Services Assistant based at the Epsom Library, with the flexibility to work across Albert Eden/Puketāpapa Local Board libraries when required. This is a permanent, 22-hour position, currently rostered on Monday, Friday & Saturday.

The Epsom Library offers council and library services from within the same premises. Our team delivers a welcoming, responsive, and professional integrated service for all visitors and the wider Auckland community.

Library & Council Services Assistants are a customer focused role, you will be contributing to the day to day running of our front-line library. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and customers to enable a great experience; we want to be known for our outstanding customer service.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Previous customer service experience and committed to service excellence
- Comfortable with technology and able to support customers to successfully use information resources and devices that are available at the library
- Attention to detail handling council services financial transactions
- Flexibility and reliability
- Willingness & passion working with children and young people to support our community programmes and activities
- An understanding of Te Ao Māori values and principles
