Walter & Wild is a New Zealand Food Manufacturing company with a substantial portfolio of iconic brands including Hubbards, I Love Food Co., Aunt Betty’s, Hansells, Vitafresh, Greggs, Alfa One, Movenpick (NZ and AU), Killinchy Gold, NZ Natural, Zilch and Chateau.

We are currently looking for a strong people leader who’s commercially focused to lead our manufacturing team at our Hubbards manufacturing plant located in Mangere. This is a key role responsible for leading and driving all aspects of the operational activities for the site. You will have successful, demonstrated experience building high-performing teams to achieve our business goals.

**To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience**:

- Strong leadership, with proven experience in coaching, empowering and developing teams to deliver successful business results.
- Effective organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a complex manufacturing or food processing environment.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing financial drivers including recovery costing and variance reporting
- Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, particularly for building and maintaining relationships across, and coordinating activities between multiple departments across the business.
