**About the Role**

The Production Coordinator is responsible for co-ordinating processing with sales order requirements and to collate all production data into useful and timely management reports that support decisions to improve productivity and operational effectiveness, ensuring legislative and company policy and procedures are adhered to. With the support of the leadership team, you will have the chance to drive continuous improvement initiatives and grow your career with a range of development opportunities.

This is day shift position, so the successful applicant will need to be available Monday to Friday; approx. 7am
- 4pm, with Saturdays 7am to 12pm overtime, as required. Keeping in mind this role supports production, so some processing overtime may be required.

**Te Mahi /Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure Sales and Head Office scheduling requirements are met as per specification and within the required timeframes.
- Review daily production priorities and production capabilities to ensure that orders are met in order of priority
- At all times checking to ensure the boning room maximise added value to the product by way of compliance with specifications and ensuring product is cut to orders
- Costing production queries including advising on best options for new and existing products
- Communicate and organise requirement documentation
- Organise daily production requirements in conjunction with your manager and clearly communicate this with your team
- Carry out the investigation of plant product claims in conjunction with Site Manager.
- Assist in the production of daily yield reports by shift and communicate these to the relevant personnel.

- Experience in the food processing industry would be beneficial
- Demonstrates excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Competent to an intermediate level in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
