We’re seeking a motivated Maintenance Fitter, who will bring expertise in food process/engineering to our dynamic Maintenance and Production Teams. In this role, you'll oversee the daily mechanical maintenance and monitoring of plant equipment, ensuring optimal availability and efficiency. As a key member of the department, you'll be responsible for adhering to and sustaining all plant programmes, policies, and procedures, while also ensuring compliance with New Zealand Standards.

**To excel in this role, you will**:

- Prioritize Health and Safety
- Hold relevant trade qualification/s and understand CMMS systems, manufacturing processes, and programs (GMP, HACCP, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality Systems)
- Take ownership of machinery and equipment performance, including maintenance, using technical and mechanical expertise
- Communicate effectively, coordinating planned maintenance and repairs with the production team and stakeholders
- Achieve results through logical thinking, fault finding, and advanced problem-solving
- Thrive as a team player
