The opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Risk Manager to enable and drive a strong risk culture across our Distribution function. As a Risk Manager, your main objective will be to support the implementation of robust risk management frameworks, assist in managing Adviser conduct, provide expert advice and guidance to our Distribution leadership, and assist in the development of a holistic view of risk within the function.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and driving a strong risk culture across the Distribution function- Implementing robust risk management frameworks and policies- Providing Distribution leadership with risk management expertise, advice & guidance- Identifying and assessing material risks for the function, prioritising remediation action plans- Ensuring divisional controls are robust and compliant with regulations- Managing adviser conduct frameworks and driving the investigation process- Influencing risk outcomes on new products, projects, and initiatives- Keeping Business Continuity plans up-to-date and testing them regularly

We're looking for someone with:
- Well-developed risk management skills (3+ years of experience) and up-to-date knowledge of industry risk issues- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Critical thinking, good decision quality, sound judgment, and problem-solving- Strong relationship building and influencing skills- The ability to work independently, take initiative and meet timeframes and deadlines- Experience in insurance sales-related companies using third-party insurance distribution preferred- NCFS Level 5 also preferred, but not essential.
