Your role

This is a sales role that requires dedication and focus. You’ll be making a variety of calls including some inbound leads. Through good call structure, quickly building professional rapport to identify needs, you’ll generate selling opportunities and then convert these within targeted levels. This activity will deliver agreed fuel sales and revenue targets that will drive high levels of open-ended commission earnings.

What We Need

CORPAY is currently seeking an experienced senior customer service rep to join us as an Account Manager within our Customer Experience division. This position falls under our international fuels line of business and is located in our Ellerslie office. In this role, your key purpose will be maximizing customer retention by working with early-life customers and partners across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll do this by understanding customer needs, satisfaction, and delivering industry leading service and solutions to meet customer needs. This role is tailor-made for someone looking to take the next step in their career who reveres providing exceptional customer service through the art of account management. The yearly salary for this role is $65,000 plus a monthly target incentive, and the working hours are Monday thru Friday from 11am to 7pm. You will report directly to SME Manager and regularly collaborate with the sales, product, credit and marketing teams.

How We Work

Following three months of training as an Account Manager, you will be expected to work in a hybrid (3 days in office/2 days from home) environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

- Assigned workspace in Ellerslie office
- Company-issued equipment
- Formal, hands-on training

Role Responsibilities

- Developing compelling solutions that keep customers engaged and committed to our products and services.

- Skillfully negotiating new terms to enhance partnerships.
- Cultivating existing relationships, fostering loyalty.
- Unearthing fresh business prospects while working in harmony with sales, credit, and customer service departments.

Qualifications & Skills
- 3 to 5 years’ previous experience in an account management or senior customer service role
- Card sector experience and experience in the automotive, fuels, oil and/or energy sector, payments, credit or debit card services will be highly regarded
- Expert communication and confidence in building long-lasting and trusted relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and partners.
- Ability to negotiate and present at all levels of the organisation including executive and c-level.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and have a strong eye for detail.
- Solid CRM software experience is essential
