We are looking for a Control Centre Manager to lead the Control Centre function to lead the Control Centre and safely operate our network while providing exceptional response times and service to both internal and external customers. You will also bring a depth of experience in emergency response and resolve situations to minimise any potential impact on our customers.

**The role**:

- Understanding and translating Orion’s strategy and direction for the Control Centre function
- Manage the Control Centre team with strong and effective leadership creating a high-performing team with a continuous improvement focus
- Prepare, monitor, and work within capex and opex budgets
- Lead emergency preparedness including documentation, contingency plans and staff training are up to date
- Collaborate across the business to ensure a seamless 24-hour service is delivered to our customers
- Be an industry leader in trends, best practices, emerging technologies, innovation, and development opportunities

**About you**:

- A proven background and extensive experience in the management and operation of electrical distribution, transmission systems and equipment
- Relevant Level 6 qualification in the electrical industry
- Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to coach, empower, inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills with a customer centric focused approach
- Exceptional time management skills while setting priorities and deadlines
